"God's Harvest"

This painting is based on Luke 10:2 where Christ said,
"The harvest is truly great, but the laborers are few..."
The golden harvest reaches beyond the horizon, yet only two harvesters
are working. Here, time is of an essence since the day is ending with
the sunset. The clouds could mean a storm is brewing which would destroy
the harvest, a result desired by the adversary. The farmstead represents
the family living and working together.
